Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders and deliveries of kitchen knives made via the online shop of AlpinePeak GmbH, Härdlenstrasse 15b, 8302 Kloten, Switzerland.

2. Conclusion of contract

The purchase contract is concluded as soon as the customer places an order in the online shop and this is confirmed by an order confirmation from AlpinePeak GmbH via email. This order confirmation represents acceptance of the offer.

3. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) including VAT. Shipping costs are calculated separately and clearly displayed during the ordering process. Subject to price changes and errors.

4. Terms of payment

Payment can be made by credit card, Twint, PayPal, bank transfer, purchase by invoice (PowerPay) or other payment methods offered in the ordering process. The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to charge interest on arrears and reminder fees.

5th delivery

Delivery is made to the delivery address specified by the customer. Delivery times are stated in the online shop. Delays can be caused by third parties and are not the responsibility of AlpinePeak GmbH. Partial deliveries are permitted provided they are reasonable for the customer.

6. Retention of title

The delivered goods remain the property of AlpinePeak GmbH until the purchase price has been paid in full.

7. Right of withdrawal

Customers have the right to cancel the purchase contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The period begins upon receipt of the goods. To exercise the right of cancellation, the customer must inform AlpinePeak GmbH of the cancellation in writing. The customer bears the return costs. Personalized products are excluded from the right of cancellation.

8. Warranty and Liability

The statutory warranty rights apply. AlpinePeak GmbH is only liable for damages that are based on intent or gross negligence. Liability for indirect damages and consequential damages is excluded.

9. Data Protection

AlpinePeak GmbH collects, stores and processes personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing orders and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. You can find further information in our privacy policy.

10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract is Kloten, Switzerland.

11. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The statutory provisions shall take the place of the invalid provision.
