Misaki – 10-year warranty

1. Scope of the guarantee

This warranty applies to all original Misaki knives purchased through our official distribution channels (Misaki online shop, authorized dealers). The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase .

2. Warranty coverage

This guarantee includes:

Manufacturing defects in the blade steel or handle material
Material defects that result in structural damage or breakage
Damage to the connection between blade and handle due to normal use

3. Exclusions from the guarantee

The guarantee does not apply to:

Normal wear and tear of the blade or wooden handle due to use
Damage caused by non-regular care of the wooden handle or soaking in water
Damage caused by improper use, misuse or falling
Damage caused by improper cleaning or care (e.g. dishwasher cleaning, aggressive chemicals)
Discoloration, stains or rust due to improper care or storage
Damage caused by improper sharpening or reworking of the blade
Damage caused by self-repairs or unauthorized service
Thermal damage due to extreme heat or direct flame exposure
Incorrect storage , e.g. in humid environments, direct sunlight or contact with chemicals
Accidents or external influences , such as impacts or dropping
Use for unintended purposes , e.g. as a lever, screwdriver, can opener or for chopping bones or frozen food
Modifications and manipulations , such as reshaping the handle or non-recommended engravings
Commercial use when the knives are used under extreme conditions in catering establishments

4. Make a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, please send us:

Proof of purchase (order number or invoice)
Photos of the damage and a brief description
Your full contact details
