Both knives are made of 73 layers of Damascus steel with a powder steel core and feature a finely polished handle made of fine rosewood. The result is extreme sharpness, high wear resistance, and an elegant feel.

Each blade is hand-ground in several steps and carefully inspected – for uncompromising sharpness, maximum wear resistance, and absolute control with every cut. The fine-grain powder steel core retains its edge exceptionally well and can be precisely resharpened as needed.

Klinge

73 Lagen gehämmerter Damaststahl mit einem hochlegierten Pulverstahlkern (14Cr14MoVNb) und 72 Lagen rostbeständigem SUS 410 Edelstahl.

Durch die Vakuum- und Kryo-Wärmebehandlung entsteht eine extrem feine Gefügestruktur mit höchster Härte. Mit 62 bis 64 HRC nach Rockwell zählt die Klinge zu den widerstandsfähigsten und schneidstärksten ihrer Klasse. Der Niobiumanteil im Kern verleiht der Klinge extreme Schärfe und höchste Verschleissfestigkeit.

Der japanische V-Schliff mit 15° pro Seite garantiert kompromisslose Präzision. Ausnahme: Beim Brotmesser kommt ein einseitiger 30°-Wellenschliff zum Einsatz.

Die charakteristische Hämmerung verleiht dem Damastmesser einen besonderen Charakter und unterstreicht seine handwerkliche Ästhetik.

Halbkropf und durchgehender Erl (Full Tang) sorgen für eine ausgewogene Gewichtsverteilung, erhöhte Stabilität und maximale Langlebigkeit bei intensiver Nutzung.

Griff

Der ergonomisch geformte Griff aus dunklem, edlem Rosenholz liegt angenehm und sicher in der Hand, auch bei längerer Nutzung.

Jeder Griff wird mehrfach feinpoliert, um eine besonders glatte, geschmeidige Oberfläche zu erzielen, die nicht nur hochwertig wirkt, sondern auch für ein angenehmes Griffgefühl sorgt.
