Made from solid teak wood with a refined end-grain look, it offers a stable, durable cutting surface that is especially gentle on knife edges.
Teak wood is naturally water-repellent and has a slightly antibacterial effect, making this cutting board ideal for everyday use with fresh ingredients. Thanks to its high density, the wood remains dimensionally stable even with regular use.
The surrounding juice groove reliably catches liquids and keeps your work surface clean. Open grip recesses make it comfortable to lift and carry, even when fully loaded. For additional stability, four transparent rubber pads can optionally be attached to the underside.
The board is delivered in an elegant black magnetic box with subtle MISAKI branding. Perfect as a gift or for stylish storage.
Whether for cutting meat, fish, vegetables, bread, or fruit, the TANA cutting board is versatile. The smooth, finely ground surface is ideal for precise cuts with high-quality kitchen knives. The circumferential juice groove prevents liquids from spilling over, and the optional non-slip pads ensure a secure grip on smooth surfaces.
After use, rinsing with warm water is usually sufficient. After cutting raw meat or fish, we recommend using a mild dish soap. Please always clean the board by hand and allow it to air dry completely.

Care instructions for your MISAKI cutting board
To ensure that your cutting board made of fine wood remains beautiful and functional for a long time, please note the following:

Hand wash only – do not soak, do not put in the dishwasher

Dry immediately and allow to air dry standing

Oil regularly (1–2 times per month) with food-safe oil

Deformation? Simply straighten it with weight overnight

Scratches? Lightly sand and re-oil
